Our Story
Our passion for travel
We’re Alison & Jason — travelers, parents, animal lovers, and the hearts behind our vacation homes.
Alison grew up in Arizona on a 1,000-cow dairy farm and later studied merchandising in college. Jason grew up in Florida and pursued a degree in Fashion Design. Though we came from very different places, life had a bigger plan. In 2004, Alison traveled to Florida for work, where we met — and the rest, as they say, is history.
We married in 2006 and have since built a life full of adventure, family, and unforgettable memories with our three daughters. Today, we live in Arizona on a small mini-farm that keeps life exciting with nearly 50 chickens, alpacas, pigs, a bunny, and a guinea pig roaming around.
Travel has always been one of the biggest passions we share as a family. Over the years, we’ve explored mountain towns, beaches, deserts, forests, small hidden gems, and bustling cities together whenever the girls are out of school. Some of our favorite memories have come from cozy cabins in East Tennessee, peaceful mornings with coffee and a view on the California Coast, family game nights after long adventures in Paria, discovering local restaurants in London, meeting incredible people in Tokyo and Kyoto, and simply slowing down long enough to enjoy being together in the Florida Keys.
Those experiences and many more inspired us to create places where other families and travelers could make memories of their own. We choose the deserts and mountains of Arizona where we live, and the Great Smoky Mountains where Jason's mom and dad dated as teenages.
Every home we host is designed with the details we personally appreciate when we travel — comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchens, spaces to gather, places to relax, thoughtful extras, and environments that feel welcoming the moment you walk through the door. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, reconnecting with family, bringing your dogs along for the adventure, or simply escaping everyday life for a few days, we want our homes to feel like more than just a place to stay.
To us, hosting is personal. It’s about creating experiences, comfort, and moments people remember long after the trip ends.
We’re so grateful you’re here and hope one of our homes becomes part of your story too.
